A while ago, I came across this wonderful instrument which instantly enthralled me with its broad possibilities and deeply impacted me. Still relatively unknown to the general public, invented in Switzerland some twenty years ago, the handpan is a percussion instrument with a round and soft timbre, which fills the space with its numerous frequencies.

Thanks to different percussion techniques that I have evolved, my original compositions are as soothing and harmonious… as they are rhythmic and energetic ! In this sense, they can be related to both classical and world music.

In my career as a drummer-percussionist, few instruments have allowed me to express myself fully and to perform “solo”. In this sense, the handpan was a revelation and opened many doors for me in creating this personal project.

When I play in churches, in concerts or in the street, my listeners say they are deeply touched by this music and taken to dreams, memories and distant inner journeys.I have the opportunity to play my music in various environments and to work in collaboration with different artists : poetry, dance, exhibition, cinema…
